Oops, I forgot to enter this one that I read back in March, and now I haven’t entered it properly. The book is The Scapegoat by Daphne Du Maurier. Sorry!
Progress so far: (Mar 1st – Dec 31st 2009)
March- April
1. A Tale of a Tub – Jonathan Swift
2. War and Peace by Tolstsoy
3. Doctor Zhivago – Boris Pasternak
May June
4. Beloved – Toni Morrison
5. Voss – Patrick White
July – August
None!
September – October
6. Don Quixote – Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra
November – December
7. The Scapegoat by Daphne du Maurier (actually read in March but I forgot to enter it)
8. The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway
So I have two to go. At this stage I’m planning for one of them to be Farewell to Arms also by Ernest Hemingway and the other one to be Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell.

10. In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.
Best of the 10 was Voss, by Patrick White, but I also loved Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell and The Scapegoat by Daphne du Maurier, and I’m very glad to have finally read War and Peace at last!

I’m doing 13 books and going through to March. Is there a place to post Jan and Feb reviews for 2010 please?
