I’m glad that there will be a second challenge because I’ve enjoyed working my way through this list. For those that are going on to year two, do we call ourselves the 2% well-read group??

Oh, I like the idea of having a new name–2%! This has been a wonderful, productive challenge!

I feel quite pleased with myself for completing this challenge because I joined it late in the year, and it inspired me to get on and read some books that had been lingering on my TBR for quite a while.
I’ll be joining in again in for the next one.
    Thanks for organising it!

I found this website by chance and am SO looking forward to the 2009 challenge! Although I’ve already one of the books on my 10 list! I hope the new challenge starts soon or I’m going to have to choose a whole new list of books!!

Yippee! I finished. I still need to write a wrap-up post but I did it. And I’m glad to see that there will be a new one since I still have a long list of books in my tbr piles that fit this one. Since I don’t know when I’ll get around to writing the wrap-up, here’s what I read for it this past year:

    1. Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho
    2. War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
    3. The Water Babies by Charles Kingsley
    4. Fingersmith by Sarah Waters
    5. The Red Queen by Margaret Drabble
    6. American Pastoral by Philip Roth
    7. Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
    8. The Garden of the Finzi-Continis by Giorgio Bassani
    9. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark
    10. Nervous Conditions by Tsitsi Dangarembga

Any news on the new challenge yet? :)

    I finished!

I finished last night, but it was just too late to get up and turn the computer on. I hope I still count!
