    Eight now, and two to go. Since joining, I’ve read In A Free State, by VS Naipaul, The Hours by Michael Cunningham, The Plot Against America by Philip Roth, The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brian, Fanny Hill by John Cleland, The Remains of the Day by Kasuo Ishiguro, The Child in Time and Moby Dick . I’m aiming to read Perfume and Shroud by the deadline! Can I do it in five weeks, when I have to go back to work after summer holidays and won’t have so much time to read?

Since joining, I’ve read In A Free State, by VS Naipaul, The Hours by Michael Cunningham, The Plot Against America by Philip Roth, The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brian, Fanny Hill by John Cleland, The Remains of the Day by Kasuo Ishiguro, The Child in Time by Ian McEwan, Moby Dick by Herman Melville, Shroud by John Banville and Perfume by Patrick Suskind. It’s a shame that some were not to my taste, but I’m not giving up and will be joining in the next challenge as well.
