I am excited for this one!

I’m in, but, I have one question left: I’m reading books in 3 different languages. So do I have to search the original publishing year or will the one for my book be okay?

Could you delete #40? I changed where my challenge posts are.

I did not know that this challenge started in August, 2008. I just came across it just a couple of days ago. Can I carry it through December 31st? Also, the books coming out in 2009 would be hard as I have ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease; I hope I will get out in the spring, weather permitting. My mom kind of knows what I like, but I have been putting books on hold over the internet, to make it easier on her. We are trying to find a light weight transport chair (a wheelchair without the big silver wheels that you find on a regular wheelchair), but so far, no luck. I am getting cabin fever, due to the bad Chicago weather. I have not been outside since December 4th.

Thanks for your understanding. Judy/Intergalactic Bookworm

Finally got my post up! I’m really glad this is retroactive to last August. I’ve got a bunch of stuff I read at the end of last year that I can use now, and that I’ve yet to review. :)

One of my books was originaly pulished in Australia in 2006.
and the 1st publication date in the US is 2008. (which is my copy)
I’m not sure which year to put it under since there are not any specifications about books from other countries and others that are re-published. I’m guessing with the hardback vs paperback and re-printing dates, you would use the earliest year.
    Thanks

For books originally printed out of your own country, you may use the original copyright date OR the year it was first available in your country.
